Entec Services Ltd. Has Selected MobileFrame's Configurable Mobile ApplicationTM Software As Its Standard Mobility Platform
San Jose, Calif. -- July 24, 2007 - MobileFrame, LLC (www.mobileframe.com), the leading provider of Configurable Mobile ApplicationsTM, announces that Entec Services Ltd. has selected MobileFrame's software platform to automate their stock inventory program. Entec is using Intermec CN2B handheld computing devices with barcode scanners to inventory stock in their warehouses. TechCellar Ltd., a MobileFrame certified reseller based in New Zealand, implemented and managed the entire Entec Project from start to finish. MobileFrame software automatically populates named Physical Inventory Batches from Entec's Microsoft Dynamics NAVTM backend system onto the handheld device allowing field technicians to enter the actual stock figures in real time while in the warehouse to verify that the stock figures are correct within the Microsoft Dynamics NAV system. This solution has eliminated all errors associated with tracking stock inventory using paper forms and has given Entec management real time visibility into the entire stock tracking process. Entec field technicians are also able to use MobileFrame's software to capture their time and expenses while on assignment at customer's job sites. This information is then synchronized to Entec's headquarters, where it is used to provide payroll data and produce monthly invoices to Entec customers.
MobileFrame's solution allowed TechCellar to automate Entec Services' entire stock inventory tracking operations on a single mobility platform without having to write a single line of code. With integrated intelligent networking, prioritized synchronization, remote device configuration and management, and remote software updates all built-in to one software platform, MobileFrame significantly streamlines mobile application development, deployment, and administration. Data collected in the field is stored on a handheld device and automatically synchronized to the central office when wireless or wired access becomes available.
