Earle M. Jorgensen Company Selects MobileFrame Software To Automate Their Proof of Delivery Operations

Earle M. Jorgensen Company Has Selected MobileFrame's Configurable Mobile ApplicationTM Software As Its Standard Mobility Platform

San Jose, Calif. -- June 18, 2007 - MobileFrame, LLC (www.mobileframe.com), the leading provider of Configurable Mobile ApplicationsTM, announces that the Earle M. Jorgensen Company has selected MobileFrame's software platform to automate their proof of delivery operations. Prior to installing MobileFrame software, EMJ used a manual paper based manifest process that was both time consuming and error prone. The MobileFrame solution allows EMJ's mobile workers to receive electronic manifests directly from EMJ's backend AS/400 system via file import. This data is auto-populated into the mobile worker's application running on Symbol MC9096 handheld devices. EMJ technicians scan all products in the field as they are delivered and capture customers' signatures to document proof of delivery. All of this data are converted into flat files and loaded into a directory for the AS/400 system to import whenever wired or wireless connectivity becomes available. EMJ utilizes one of MobileFrame's newest features to automatically email PDF invoices to their customers immediately upon completion of the delivery.

MobileFrame's solution allowed Earle M. Jorgensen Company to automate all of their proof of delivery operations on a single mobility platform without having to write a single line of code. With integrated intelligent networking, prioritized synchronization, remote device configuration and management, and remote software updates all built-in to one software platform, MobileFrame significantly streamlines mobile application development, deployment, and administration. Data collected in the field is stored on a handheld device and automatically synchronized to the central office when wireless or wired access becomes available.

"We are pleased to have implemented a successful deployment at the Earle M. Jorgensen Company," said Lonny Oswalt, MobileFrame's CEO and President. "The integration of MobileFrame's software with EMJ's complex AS/400 proof of delivery system is yet another testament to the flexibility of MobileFrame's platform. Our built-in server based integration workflow capability and integration wizard technology allowed us to automate a totally custom front-end to EMJ's AS/400 backend system in a matter of days."
