Pride Industries Selects MobileFrame Software To Automate Their UNIX Based Inspection Work Order System

Pride Industries Has Selected MobileFrame's Configurable Mobile ApplicationTM Software As Their Standard Mobility Platform

San Jose, Calif. -- May 31, 2007 - MobileFrame, LLC (www.mobileframe.com), the leading provider of Configurable Mobile ApplicationsTM, announces that Pride Industries has selected MobileFrame's software platform to automate their UNIX based LAMP Inspection Work Order System. MobileFrame's solution allows Pride employees to fill out inspection forms that contain advanced inspection workflow and logic including maps of the various work order locations. Pride employees synchronize the data collected in the field to Pride Industries back end Work Order Management System by plugging their handheld devices into a docking cradle that is connected to the internet via DSL/T1 or, if wireless access is available, via real-time Wi-Fi, UMTS/GPRS or EVDO cellular connections.

MobileFrame's software has enabled Pride Industries to automate the collection of all field inspection data using dynamic forms created from tasks within their work order system. The MobileFrame software runs on Windows Mobile based PDAs and works in both wired and wireless modes. It replaced a Palm inspection application that was slow and inflexible. Using the ultra-flexible feature set contained in MobileFrame's Configurable Mobile ApplicationTM software, Pride Industries can now take a new phoned-in work order at the trouble-desk, enter it into their work order management system and have a technician receive the new work order on a mobile handheld in the field, all within a matter of minutes.

MobileFrame's solution allowed Pride Industries to automate all of their field inspection and work order operations on a single mobility platform without having to write a single line of code. With integrated intelligent networking, prioritized synchronization, remote device configuration and management, and remote software updates all built-in to one software platform, MobileFrame significantly streamlines mobile application development, deployment, and administration. Data collected in the field is stored on a handheld device and automatically synchronized to the central office when wireless or wired access becomes available.

"We are pleased to have implemented our solution at Pride Industries," said Lonny Oswalt, MobileFrame's CEO and President. "The successful deployment of Pride Industries complex business and work order management system is yet another testament to the flexibility of MobileFrame's platform. Our built-in server based integration workflow capability and integration wizard technology allowed us to automate a totally custom front-end to Pride Industries UNIX based backend system in a matter of days."
