PBS&J Selects MobileFrame Software As Their Standard Mobility Platform

PBS&J Has Selected MobileFrame's Configurable Mobile ApplicationTM Software As Its Standard Mobility Platform to Automate FEMA Remediation Data Collection

San Jose, Calif. -- April 23, 2007 - MobileFrame, LLC (www.mobileframe.com), the leading provider of Configurable Mobile ApplicationsTM, announces that PBS&J, a leading consulting services provider in the areas of engineering, planning, construction management, program management, environmental sciences, facilities, landscape architecture, and applied technologies, has selected MobileFrame's software platform as their standard for mobile computing. PBS&J is ranked among the top five pure design firms, the top 10 transportation designers, and the top 25 design firms worldwide. MobileFrame software enabled PBS&J to automate collection and management of field data for their current FEMA remediation work including environmental management, hazardous material reconnaissance, debris management, field sampling (soil, sediment, water, air), and public outreach surveys. MobileFrame's flexibility allows many different applications to be deployed real time during catastrophic events. PBS&J's current project requires them to relocate 6,000 Katrina victims from FEMA-provided mobile homes to different lodging. MobileFrame's software has enabled PBS&J to go completely electronic and eliminate all paperwork associated with this project.

MobileFrame's solution allows PBS&J to automate all of their unique Field Data Collection Operations on a single mobility platform. With integrated intelligent networking, prioritized synchronization, remote device configuration and management, and remote software updates all built-in to one software platform, MobileFrame significantly streamlines mobile application development, deployment, and administration. Data collected in the field is stored locally on an encrypted handheld database and automatically synchronized to the central office when wireless or wired access becomes available. MobileFrame's software can be deployed simultaneously in any language, on any .NET handheld computing devices, including Pocket PC PDA's, Tablet PC's and Laptops.

"PBS&J needed to automate their large number of paper-based processes in order to gain the efficiencies afforded by mobile technology," said Lonny Oswalt, MobileFrame's CEO and President. "Using MobileFrame software, PBS&J was able to quickly automate their business processes and eliminate all of their paper-based forms without having to write a single line of custom code. Our software is so flexible and easy to configure that when project data collection requirements change, new forms can be quickly created and deployed to PBS&Js mobile workers on the fly."
