San Jose, Calif. -- April 5, 2007 - MobileFrame, LLC (www.mobileframe.com), the leading provider of Configurable Mobile ApplicationsTM, announces that Oceanit Laboratories, Inc., an engineering and scientific firm based in Honolulu, Hawaii has selected MobileFrame's software platform to automate all field data collection for their Environmental Engineering Group. Oceanit is using MobileFrame software as a rapid application development tool to create and deploy field-based data collection applications for environmental engineering projects world wide. MobileFrame is the front-end extension of Oceanit's Management Information System that maintains project environmental data, including measurements, statistical data, GIS information, reports, images and multimedia files. MobileFrame's built-in digital image capture feature is being used in combination with GIS tools such as ESRI's ArcPad so that field-based GIS data can be supported with digital images. Oceanit will also be expanding their applications to take advantage of MobileFrame's built-in digital voice capture feature as an alternative to making typed notations in the field.
