After issuing a formal RFP, Boeing selected MobileFrame's software because of its ease of use and its ability to rapidly deploy sophisticated mobile applications. Boeing can instantly automate and deploy an electronic version of any type of Inventory Order or Scheduled Maintenance Request directly to a technician in the field. As the technician completes the Order, barcode scans of the parts used are automatically captured and embedded in the workflow. The technician can also capture photographs and sketches of any items, record voice notes, capture the electronic signatures and print signed copies of Orders. All Orders are automatically updated in the AssetSmart® Inventory. This results in improved efficiency, and immediately enhances the company's bottom line.
MobileFrame's Business SuiteTM is a fully self contained solution that delivers broad functionality out-of-the-box. No custom programming, no third party mobile gateways, synchronization engines or SDK's are required. Data collected in the field is stored on a handheld device and automatically synchronized to the central office when wireless or wired access becomes available. The MobileFrame software operates on any .NET enabled handheld device, including Pocket PC PDA's, Tablet PC's or Laptops.
