San Jose, Calif. -- (Business Wire) - November 22, 2004 - MobileFrame, LLC (www.mobileframe.com), the premiere developer of Configurable Mobile ApplicationsTM, announced that its Standard SuiteTM software has been selected by Benchmade Knife Company, Inc. to automate its national sales force. Benchmade has 40 sales representatives throughout the United States. To gain a competitive advantage, those field representatives needed the ability to enter orders electronically as well as have real-time access to both current customer account data and the latest Benchmade product information. After evaluating competing sales force automation solutions, Benchmade selected MobileFrame's software because of its unparalleled ease of use and its ability to rapidly deploy up-to-the-minute information to the Benchmade sales team. Sales executives now have instant access to customer order history, contact details, A/R status and product inventory levels while they are in the field. MobileFrame's revolutionary Smart ArchitectureTM enables Benchmade to automate their sales force and make any desired changes to their mobile sales force applications on the fly, using an "IT Free", point and click platform.

Before deploying MobileFrame's software, Benchmade sales representatives recorded customer orders on paper and faxed the forms to 5 full-time sales operations managers in the central office. Over 14,000 faxes per year were sent to the central business unit for manual processing. Manual order entry took a significant amount of time and many faxes were difficult to read, causing errors and additional labor hours to cross check and verify orders. The MobileFrame Standard Suite has eliminated manual data entry and all associated data entry errors. Benchmade sales representatives nationwide now enter customer data into a handheld PDA. Customizable receipts for orders are printed out on the spot and left with the customer. The order information is seamlessly transmitted directly into Benchmade's legacy database whenever the PDA is synchronized.
