MobileFrame software empowers customers to create and manage their own mobile
applications with the same ease as they write e-mail or manage other end-user
applications.
Using the MobileFrame DeskTopTM , a
business user types the list of tasks a mobile worker is to perform in the
field (e.g. "record the meter reading", "photograph the damage") and then
selects the type of data to be gathered from a pull-down list. When all of the
steps have been listed, they are saved as a Task. Any number of Tasks may be
created in this manner. The business user associates a number of Tasks along
with any enterprise data the worker may need to complete the steps in the
assigned Tasks (e.g. equipment specifications, parts lists, troubleshooting
guides etc.) into a Project which is then deployed to the mobile worker's
handheld device. Images of a sample Task Library containing the Projects
created on the MobileFrame DeskTopTM are
shown below:

The screens below illustrate how a mobile worker would use a client device
powered by MobileFrame software. When the client device is first powered on,
the Home Page [1] appears. When the mobile worker selects the My Projects
Icon, a list of assigned Projects and Tasks is displayed [2]. The Enterprise
Data Explorer [3] lists all Enterprise Data assigned to the Mobile Worker.
This is the Task [4] that the worker must accomplish.

MobileFrame's unique Configurable Mobile ApplicationsTM
allow users to store applications in their own personal library, share mobile
applications among other users, and deploy mobile applications on-the-fly to
Pocket PCs, Tablet PCs or Windows PC Laptops. No changes to the software are
required. MobileFrame's Smart ArchitectureTM
recognizes whether the target client is a Pocket PC, Tablet PC or Laptop and
automatically renders the screen display for that device. A sample Tablet PC
Home Screen is shown in the figure below.
