Aquila Inc. Selects MobileFrame Software To Automate Their Archibus Work Order Management System


Aquila Inc. Has Selected MobileFrame's Configurable Mobile ApplicationTM Software As Its Standard Mobility Platform

San Jose, Calif. -- March 23, 2007 - MobileFrame, LLC (www.mobileframe.com), the leading provider of Configurable Mobile ApplicationsTM, announces that Aquila Inc., an electricity and natural gas utility company serving one million customers in Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri and Nebraska has selected MobileFrame's software platform to automate their Work Order Management System. MobileFrame's software has been configured to automate work order tasks as well as provide real-time integration of field data into Aquila's backend work order management system, Archibus www.archibus.com. The Aquila application developed by MobileFrame is integrated into the Archibus FM Enterprise modules for Building Operations (work orders, craft persons, etc.) and Space Management (employee housing, site, building, floor, room inspection etc.).

MobileFrame's solution allowed Aquila to automate all of their Work Order Management System on a single mobility platform. With integrated intelligent networking, prioritized synchronization, remote device configuration and management, and remote software updates all built-in to one software platform, MobileFrame significantly streamlines mobile application development, deployment, and administration. Data collected in the field is stored on an Intermec CN2B handheld device and automatically synchronized to the central office when wireless or wired access becomes available. MobileFrame's software can be deployed simultaneously in any language, on any .NET handheld computing devices, including Pocket PC PDA's, Tablet PC's and Laptops.
