Heavy Machines Selects MobileFrame Software To Automate Their Field Service Operations

Heavy Machines Has Selected MobileFrame's Configurable Mobile ApplicationTM Software As Its Standard Mobility Platform

San Jose, Calif. -- February 7, 2007 - MobileFrame, LLC (www.mobileframe.com), the leading provider of Configurable Mobile ApplicationsTM, announces that Heavy Machines has selected MobileFrame's software platform to automate all of their Field Service Operations. Heavy Machines service technicians perform maintenance and repair of large items of industrial equipment in the field. They must identify problems with the equipment, and capture all details including parts and labor required to complete the repair on a Tablet PC, which the technicians carry in their trucks. Each piece of equipment is identified using a barcode that contains information defining the manufacturer, equipment model number, and serial number. As soon as the barcode for a particular machine is recognized, all fields related to that piece of equipment are auto-populated on the technicians mobile Tablet. In addition, the technician records travel time, mileage and hours worked at a particular jobsite on the Tablet. These accounting details are captured along with the parts required for the work order for approval by an authorizing manager. Authorization is accomplished by capturing the customer's signature on the service technician's Tablet computer. Upon approval, the Service Report is immediately transmitted to Heavy Machine's corporate database. MobileFrame's ability to send alert messages and emergency service requests to service technicians provides Heavy Machines a real-time interactive field service system.

MobileFrame's award-winning Configurable Mobile ApplicationsTM software platform is an entirely self-contained mobility solution that provides full functionality out-of-the-box, with no custom programming, no third party mobile gateways, synchronization engines or SDK's required. MobileFrame's software allows users to capture photographs, voice notes, documents, templates, logos, sketches, digital signatures, bar code scans, magnetic strip read outs, RFID tags and advanced algorithmic functions, and attach them directly into their mobile applications. Applications are stored in a library so business users can quickly make changes whenever operational requirements change, enabling on-the-spot development and deployment of a wide variety of mobile applications. MobileFrame software affords Heavy Machines unparalleled flexibility to create mobile applications of any degree of complexity, incorporating any mix of business processes, and deploy those applications to their mobile personnel on-the-fly.

The MobileFrame solution allowed Heavy Machines to automate their field service system on a single mobility platform. With integrated intelligent networking, prioritized synchronization, remote device configuration and management, and remote software updates all built-in to one software platform, MobileFrame significantly streamlines mobile application development, deployment, and administration. Data collected in the field is stored on a handheld device and automatically synchronized to the central office when wireless or wired access becomes available. The MobileFrame software operates on any .NET enabled handheld device, including Pocket PC PDA's, Tablet PC's or Laptops.

"MobileFrame is pleased to welcome Heavy Machines to our growing list of customers," said Lonny Oswalt, MobileFrame's CEO and President. "MobileFrame's software enabled Heavy Machines to automate their entire field service order system overnight. The ROI for this system was less than one month, and represents an unparalleled financial payback for our customer."
